huntersThree hunters (Munkailu Sani, Mai-Riga Ahmadu
and Umar Hussaini ) arrested July 19th around Tungan-
Kifi at Yankari Game reserve in Bauchi state .
The hunters who are all from Kashera reportedly killed a
hartebeest (African Antelope) and Waterbuck (another type of large
antelope found widely in sub-Saharan Africa ) before their
arrest.
They were fined N100,000 each or five months in jail.
They were unable to pay the fine and so all three were jailed.
