A video showing a drunken policeman
lying on the ground in a muddy
puddle went viral on the Internet on
Saturday .
The uniformed policeman had
allegedly drunk himself to stupor.
Several people gathered around him,
filming and taking pictures of the cop .
“ He has taken too much drink
(alcohol) and he has fallen into a
gutter. And he is on duty . Look at what
Buhari has caused for us; this doesn’ t
make sense, ” a man said in the video .
At a point , some people in the crowd
suggested lifting up the policeman ,
while others objected.
One of the commenters on the post on
Instagram, @ iam _dazzer wrote , “ This
is crazy . That’ s what we call bad habit.
He has been destroyed by his
alcoholism . He is a disgrace to the
police. ”
Another reader , @ tokunbo _asap ,
however, had a different opinion.
“ What if he is suffering from a
neurological disorder , especially
seizures?
“ He might even have a cardiovascular
problem that led to a sudden collapse .
Transient ischemic attack (stroke).
Why not help him or seek help ? They
would rather make videos . Pathetic to
say the least ,” he wrote .
